- CGN will bring back the online Solo & Ensemble Competition, register before 31. May!
At this event you can perform as a soloist or ensemble for literally the whole world and receive expert feedback and a score. The competition is open to Color Guard, Percussion, Winds and a combination of these.
The CGN Solo & Ensemble Competition 2023 broadcast will take place on Saturday June 17th. Entries must be uploaded by May 31 at the latest. Registration is open to individuals and groups from all over the world. There is no maximum number of members, there are no maximum dimensions for the competition surface that can be both indoors and outdoors for the Ensemble competition. So you can participate with your entire group with parts of your winter or summer program.
Classes:
Color Guard
• Kids Class: A group participating in the Kids Class must be composed of members who have not yet reached the age of eleven by April 1st 2023.
• Cadet Class: A group participating in the Cadet Class must be composed of members who have not yet reached the age of fourteen by April 1st 2023.
• Junior Class: A group participating in the Junior Class must be composed of members who have not yet reached the age of seventeen by April 1st 2023.
• Open Class: All ages
Percussion & Winds
• Junior Class: A group participating in the Junior Class must be composed of members who have not yet reached the age of seventeen by April 1st 2023.
• Open Class: All ages

• Guard E-Talent
Percussion
• Percussion Individual non melodic
• Percussion Individual Keyboard
• Percussion Ensemble (min. 2 persons)
• Drum Challenge/Battle (2 performances of max 2.5 minutes each) Performance area: 12x12 m.
• Music E-Talent
If at least 3 people register for the same instrument, it will be marked as a separate class (e.g. Snare Individual, Multitoms Individual).
Brass/Winds
• Brass Individual
• Winds Individual
• Brass/Winds Ensemble (min. 2 persons)
• Music E-Talent
If at least 3 people register for the same instrument, it will be characterized as a separate class (e.g. Trumpet Individual, Trombone Individual).

• Soloist € 11,00
• Duo € 19,25 (part of the ensemble competition)
• Ensemble € 27,50 (no maximum number)
• E-Talent € 27,50 (no maximum quantity)
