CGNs online events are attracting international attention. It will therefore be a wonderful season. We will kick off on Sunday 7 March at 2 p.m. with the first online I&E and Challenges. You will see participants from the Netherlands, Germany, Philippines and Thailand. They are divided into different classes.
I&E and Challenges are set up differently from the classes that you are used to seeing at the 'normal' events of CGN. We explain the main differences to you.
In the Individuals and Ensembles, participants compete alone or in small groups (2-8 people). We have various classes for Guard, Percussion and Winds. Even combinations are possible, such as an individual playing multiple instruments, or a group of wind and percussion players together.
The performances are short, between 1 and 2.5 minutes.
Challenges require at least 2 participants. They compete against each other with two performances of 1-2 minutes each. The judges will designate a winner per round. With enough participants, the winners of each round continue and compete against each other until there is 1 winner.
In short, a spectacle is guaranteed on Sunday 7 March!
And best of all, you can watch these online events for free at www.cgnlive.nl.
